DDA & Company advises Graitec on the bolt-on acquisition of Arma Plus, fabrication management software developer for construction delivery
Paris, July 10th, 2018,
DDA & Company supports Graitec, an international BIM (Buiding Information Modelling), Fabrication and Design software developer for AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction), in the consolidation of its Intellectual Property.
Operating through 35 offices across 11 countries worldwide, and backed by private equity fund Isatis Capital since 2015, Graitec consolidates its IP with the bolt-on acquisition of Arma Plus, a French-based company that provides IT and Fabrication Software solutions for the construction, steel and concrete industries.
After ProCAD (Canada), Total CAD (United States), HPC (France), Robobat (Poland), Microcad (United Kingdom), Integer (United Kingdom), Civil Design (Canada), Arma Plus acquisition is the 8th external growth operation advised by DDA for Graitec.
This acquisition complements Graitec’s strategy to become the leader in BIM for structural design, detailing and fabrication, whilst empowering the company to improve their existing software portfolio, and the development of pioneering BIM solutions.
At a time when technical and financial considerations have never been so high on the agenda in the construction industry and where BIM opens new exciting areas, professionals are standardizing and industrializing more and more of their processes. As part of this move, design and fabrication worlds are converging. The acquisition of Arma Plus occurs in this context where Graitec, a global champion of Design & Detailing solutions for construction, now enables customers to continue the journey by including fabrication in the process.
