DDA & Company advises Graitec on the bolt-on acquisition of ProCAD (Canada)
DDA & Company supports Graitec once again in its international development. Graitec is an international leader in the BIM (Buiding Information Modelling), Fabrication and Design software development and distribution, dedicated to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry.
Operating through 35 offices across 11 countries worldwide, and backet by private equity fund Isatis Capital since 2015, Graitec consolidates its position in Canada, through the bolt-on acquisition of ProCAD, based in Montreal and Quebec City.
After TotalCAD (United States), HPC (France), Robobat (Poland), MicroCAD (United Kingdom), Integer (United Kingdom), Civil Design (Canada), ProCAD acquisition is the 7th external growth operation advised by DDA for Graitec.
The acquisition of ProCAD reinforces the position of Graitec in Canada where the company is already operating as (1) Autodesk Gold Partner; (2) developer and reseller of 2 world standard structural analysis & design software (Advance Design, Advance BIM Designers, Advance Workshop and MIS Solution); and (3) as service provider and Research & Development partner for engineering offices and manufacturers.
ProCAD brings with them a team of BIM experts as well as over 30 years of presence and customer commitment on the Canadian market. Now with the full support of a major international group, ProCAD will gain an extended capacity to deliver a new range of professional services around BIM. This in turn will deliver more value to customers. ProCAD and Graitec Canada will merge in the coming weeks and both teams will join their strength to better serve customers and develop the business of Graitec in Canada.
