DDA & Company advises GRAITEC again, an international BIM (Buiding Information Modelling), Fabrication and Design software developer for AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction), in the development of its European footprint.
Operating through 35 offices across 11 countries worldwide, and backed by private equity fund Isatis Capital since 2015, GRAITEC reinforces its position in France through the bolt-on acquisition of LINEIS, which operates 3 offices in Paris, Lyon and Aix .
After 2ACAD (Spain and Portugal), Opentree (United Kingdom), Arma Plus (France), Procad (Canada), Total CAD (United States), HPC (France), Robobat (Poland), Microcad (United Kingdom), Integer (United Kingdom), Civil Design (Canada), LINEIS acquisition is the 11th external growth operation advised by DDA & Company for GRAITEC, and the 3rd since the beginning of 2019.
The LINEIS acquisition strongly reinforces the position of GRAITEC in Europe, where the company is already operating (with branches in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Spain and Protugal) as (1) an Autodesk Platinum Partner; (2) a developer and reseller of several world standard software solutions in the Structural Analysis and Fabrication Management space with Advance Design, Advance BIM Designers, Advance Workshop and Arma+ software; and (3) as a service provider and research & development partner for engineering offices and manufacturers.
LINEIS brings with them a team of BIM experts as well as over 30 years of presence and customer commitment in the French market. Now with the full support of a major international group, LINEIS will gain an extended capacity to deliver a new range of exclusive professional services around BIM.
